Birds of a Feather Flock Together

I absolutely love feathers weather it may be in earrings, necklaces, tattoos (soon to get one) or on your clothing, I am really digging the new feather extension trend. One extension normally consist of 6 to 7 natural feathers that you can wash blow dry and even curl .They come in a variety of colors from purple to natural browns. Starlet Hilary Duff has been spotted sporting this new trend and I just love it. They are so fun and they have a cool boho vibe.

Flit A Bit

I'm really digging this new OPI polish in flit a bit that i picked up. It's honestly the perfect orange color for spring and summer. I love the way the color makes me feel. I feel colors have a psychological effect on the mind and I have read that the color orange is thought to have positive affects on your emotional state...cant wait to rock this color with a summer tan! 

Color Blocking

A trend I am excited to try this spring is color blocking. For those of you who have not caught up, color blocking is paring two or more bright colors or pastels. For example a bright pink top with a strong orange bottom. This trend is great especially for spring and i have a feeling it will stick around through summer. Check out some of these eye catching shoes too!
 

EOS lip balm

As I was checking out at my local RiteAid I came across there cute egg shaped lip balm. I was really drawn  to the unique shape and as I read the descriptions i was excited to try something other than my trusty carmex stick. EOS claims to be 95% organic and 100% natural with shea butter, vitamin E and jojoba oil.
 They come in about 5 different flavors and honestly i love that they are super cute looking and keep my lips feeling soft. Not to mention they don't taste so bad either ( so my man said hehe). I picked mine up in "summer fruit".

E.L.F Studio Cosmetics

I went to Target today to pick-up a few things I needed and of course I had to make a pit stop in the cosmetic area. I've read alot of things about the new e.l.f studio cosmetic line. I have to say i was completely blown away by the affordable prices! I picked up the under eye concealer & highlighter duo in medium and the eyeliner & shadow stick in glow/pearl. Both at $3! that's crazy! I cant wait to try them out.

M.A.C Wish List!

Normally I don't wear too much makeup. My makeup routine consists of Bare Minerals and bit of eye liner, mascara,and some carmex or a tinted balm from orgins. I like to keep it fast and simple and Bare Minerals does just that. Lately I've been having this crazy craving for lipstick! Stepping out of my comfort zone this month with some nice pigmented lipsticks by M.A.C...i think it'll be good for me and hey i know ill rock it  :) These are a few on my list, whats on yours this month?

Sally Hanson Salon Effects

So I have seen the ads all over the place for the new Sally Hanson Salon Effect nail strips and hello! these are A-mazing! I absolutely love all of the different designs and colors that they came out with off the bat. They are about $12 at the drug store ( i think). I got mine at CVS and instead of doing them all the same i decided to do every other nail in polish to stretch out my buck! :) I honestly cannot wait to see what new designs they come out with next.

San Diego Zoo

This weekend was more than amazing. On top of it being Valentines day weekend, my boyfriend decided to take me some where i have been longing to visit. San Diego Zoo! It really was the best time (and workout!). The  place is huge and most of it up hill walking. We literally were there all day and we were lucky enough to see it all from Camels, snakes, birds to polar bears. I am a huge animal person and here are some of my favorites :)

Ooooh YSL

 YSL rings are super cute and the colors they come in are amazing. I am all for big artsy rings with a bohemian feel. I love rings with natural stone. These YSL rings are way too cute for life but not quite in my price range. If your one of the fortunate ones that can afford this work of art be prepared for a the million compliments coming your way! These are a few of my favorites!
