Flit A Bit

I'm really digging this new OPI polish in flit a bit that i picked up. It's honestly the perfect orange color for spring and summer. I love the way the color makes me feel. I feel colors have a psychological effect on the mind and I have read that the color orange is thought to have positive affects on your emotional state...cant wait to rock this color with a summer tan! 

Color Blocking

A trend I am excited to try this spring is color blocking. For those of you who have not caught up, color blocking is paring two or more bright colors or pastels. For example a bright pink top with a strong orange bottom. This trend is great especially for spring and i have a feeling it will stick around through summer. Check out some of these eye catching shoes too!
 

EOS lip balm

As I was checking out at my local RiteAid I came across there cute egg shaped lip balm. I was really drawn  to the unique shape and as I read the descriptions i was excited to try something other than my trusty carmex stick. EOS claims to be 95% organic and 100% natural with shea butter, vitamin E and jojoba oil.
 They come in about 5 different flavors and honestly i love that they are super cute looking and keep my lips feeling soft. Not to mention they don't taste so bad either ( so my man said hehe). I picked mine up in "summer fruit".

E.L.F Studio Cosmetics

I went to Target today to pick-up a few things I needed and of course I had to make a pit stop in the cosmetic area. I've read alot of things about the new e.l.f studio cosmetic line. I have to say i was completely blown away by the affordable prices! I picked up the under eye concealer & highlighter duo in medium and the eyeliner & shadow stick in glow/pearl. Both at $3! that's crazy! I cant wait to try them out.

M.A.C Wish List!

Normally I don't wear too much makeup. My makeup routine consists of Bare Minerals and bit of eye liner, mascara,and some carmex or a tinted balm from orgins. I like to keep it fast and simple and Bare Minerals does just that. Lately I've been having this crazy craving for lipstick! Stepping out of my comfort zone this month with some nice pigmented lipsticks by M.A.C...i think it'll be good for me and hey i know ill rock it  :) These are a few on my list, whats on yours this month?
